Sabangan Beach Resort is set along the white sand beach of Laiya. The 5,600 square meter landscaped compound has air-conditioned cottages, beachfront parasols, a gazebo, a pavilion with game tables, common cr, mini convenience store, children's playground, drivers quarters, free parking for guests. Soon they will have a swimming pool.


Sabangan opened to the public in April 2004 with only 3 bungalows - all with private toilet and bath, patio area with sala set and well equipped kitchenette.

Today, the resort has a total of 6 units of the one-bedroom bungalow, 3 units of the two-bedroom bungalow and 4 units of the loft type cottage. The current lying capacity is 78 persons up to a maximum of 123 persons.



Facilities & Amenities

Most of Sabangan's guests come to the resort to relax and take pictures of the beautiful surroundings. They like to enjoy the cool breeze at the patio and converse amidst the beautiful and serene atmosphere at the resort.

As the sun rises in the morning, one wakes up to the chirping of the birds and the rustle of the leaves. Early birds can walk to the beach to check out the day's catch or take a jog along the long white sand beach. You can also take a dip in the calm blue waters of the sea or go bird watching amidst the forests around the resort. The most enjoyable moments during the day are when families and friends converge at the gazebo to take their snacks and meals. You can burn your calories while playing beach volleyball in front of the resort.


For the thrill seekers, you can take a hike up the scenic slopes of Mt. Daguldol. Daily trips to the Naambon peak (672 meters above sea level) are available with horses, porters and guides. There is a nearby marine sanctuary where you can go snorkeling and scuba diving but guests have to bring their own gear. The marine sanctuary has good coral cover and fish life, including soft and leathery corals, sea stars, sea cucumbers and is teeming with reef fish. If you're lucky you can spot a pawikan (giant sea turtle) during one of your dives.


Take a boat to nearby coves, the submarine garden and other nearby attractions. Fees for the boat depend on the distance and time spent.

At the end of the day, you can unwind and have a massage at the patio of your cottage by a certified reflexologist while viewing the sunset.

Bungalow 1A - Directly fronting the beach
Bungalow 1B, 1C - Facing the courtyard
Bungalow 1D, 1E and 1F - Facing the Pavilion and Courtyard


Each bungalow has a kitchenette (refrigerator, hot and cold water dispenser with 5 gallon Agua Vida purified water, electric stove, rice cooker, pots and pans, plates, bowls, cups and saucers, silverware). Any missing item (ie. Remote control (TV or cable), dream cable card, utensils) upon check out will be charged to the guest.


Peak Season Rate (Oct 1 - Jun 30): P6,000.00 per night
Including holidays (Oct 29 - Nov 2 / Dec 15 - Jan 7)

Lean Season Rate (Jul 1 - Sep 30) excluding holidays: P5,000.00 per night



TWO BEDROOM BUNGALOW

Air-conditioned two-bedroom bungalow with two (2) double sized bed and one (1) queen sized bed, private toilet and bath with water heater, sala set, cable television and room safe.

Room Capacity: 4-6 persons

LOFT TYPE COTTAGE

The loft type cottages have two air-conditioned rooms. The 2nd floor bedroom has three double sized beds and an extra mattress; the ground floor bedroom has three double sized beds and an extra mattress. The cottage also includes a private toilet and bath, cable TV, and a patio area. The patio area has a refrigerator, a water dispenser with 5-gallon bottled water, cookware and dining utilities.

The following regulations apply for all the 3 types of accommodations:

*Check in time is 2:00 p.m. and check out time is 12:00 noon the following day

* Any person in excess of maximum capacity shall be charged at the rate of P1,500/person for all the three types of accommodations that they have

* Rates: inclusive of 12% VAT and entrance fees
